AIRPORT TECHNICIAN (CASUAL)

Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority (DLRAA) is seeking two (2) trusted, enthusiastic and optimistic professionals for union position of Airport Technician (Casual).

For more than 60 years, DLRAA has serviced Western Newfoundland and Labrador with regularly scheduled passenger service to and from destinations in eastern and central Canada, with connections worldwide. Reporting to the Operations department, this role is responsible for all aspects of airport operations including, but not limited to: Airfield Inspection and Maintenance, Aircraft Movement Surface Condition Reporting, Wildlife Management, maintaining airport grounds, equipment and facilities, operating heavy equipment and ERS vehicles, conducting and performing general maintenance and repairs on airport infrastructures that includes buildings, roadway and other structures, safely storing and applying chemicals and other agents, maintaining records and inventory control, responding to all emergency situations associated with airport operations and emergency response services in conjunction with the emergency response plan.
